3 Ingredient Green Smoothie
This go-to green smoothie is loved by both kids and adults in our house. For a milder green try spinach or amp it up with a bitter green such as kale. Want to rev up your liver? Pop in some dandelion greens. Want less sugar? Reduce the pineapple.
Once you have this recipe down pat, try improvising by adding in other ingredients such as avocado, mango, beet greens, etc.
1 banana (the riper the sweeter)
1 cup of pineapple
1 cup greens
2 cups of water
Place all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Consume immediately or store in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Cold drinks aren't the best for your digestive system so try to use fresh vs. frozen bananas for this one, especially if consuming first thing in the day, such as at breakfast.
